A Toothless Squad

Looks like I'm in trouble this weekend. Chopra is ruled out with an ankle injury for the next ten weeks and Alan Lee has now exited Palace for the Galpharm Stadium and League One.

With no transfer credits to burn and a back four with key characters playing for Barnsley & Middlesbrough, I simply can't win this weekend.

Has anybody been this unlucky with another four days or so until new transfers can be made?

Surely, there should be some contingency for players transferring out of the Championship.

New Table Released | Week 3

So who bought Bellamy? quite a few I guess. What a debut!

Yet further movement this week, with no clear leader emerging at this stage, it's definitely all to play for. But could somebody please slow down QPR? Sorry Daniel, everyone is welcome here and no offence is intended, but QPR? Old Colin's not a popular chap at Oakwell tha' sees!

Good luck to everybody for the next round.

Week 3 = New Defence

Obviously my Yum Yum FC team are like Brazil (such a high comparison); lots of attacking flair and quality but absolutely garbage at the back!

For Week 2 I changed my midfield by bringing in QPR midfielder Adel Taarabt who was impressive in QPR's dismantling of Barnsley last week. (Sorry Ian!) Keeping faith in my sturdy back four and strike force, goals from Billy Sharp (Come on Donny!) Grant Holt, Adel Taarabt and Clarke Carlisle looked to have quadrupled my points tally, but thanks to both Hull and Preston getting 'tonked' 4-0, my score was decreased somewhat, leaving me in 11th overall in the league - but I'll take that two weeks in! So I've re-jigged my back four and brought in a couple of defenders who know how to tackle, pass and actually mark opposing strikers, mind you Preston's entire backline are as useful as a chocolate fireguard - should have seen that iceberg in week 1!

One transfer left, but it won't be 'wasted' on Craig Bellamy though - that is one thing I can guarantee. Quality player, but is he better than my Sharp-Holt combination? Probably not, but like Cardiff, I can't afford him either!

Week 3 is Yum Yum FC's week.
