Obviously my Yum Yum FC team are like Brazil (such a high comparison); lots of attacking flair and quality but absolutely garbage at the back!
For Week 2 I changed my midfield by bringing in QPR midfielder
Adel Taarabt who was impressive in QPR's dismantling of Barnsley last week. (Sorry Ian!) Keeping faith in my sturdy back four and strike force, goals from
Billy Sharp (Come on Donny!)
Grant Holt, Adel Taarabt and
Clarke Carlisle looked to have quadrupled my points tally, but thanks to both Hull and Preston getting 'tonked' 4-0, my score was decreased somewhat, leaving me in 11th overall in the league - but I'll take that two weeks in! So I've re-jigged my back four and brought in a couple of defenders who know how to tackle, pass and actually mark opposing strikers, mind you Preston's entire backline are as useful as a chocolate fireguard - should have seen that iceberg in week 1!
One transfer left, but it won't be 'wasted' on Craig Bellamy though - that is one thing I can guarantee. Quality player, but is he better than my Sharp-Holt combination? Probably not, but like Cardiff, I can't afford him either!
Week 3 is Yum Yum FC's week.
